The Strategy: A Multi-Pillar Growth Engine
Rather than relying on generic acquisition, I architected a localized growth framework that combined grassroots community engagement with developer-led product innovation.
Campus Ambassador & Referral Engine: Architected the Campus Ambassador Playbook, recruiting and training a network of brand evangelists. This program transformed users into advocates, driving high-velocity customer acquisition through peer-to-peer referral links.
Viral Social Growth Campaigns: Spearheaded community-led social campaigns across Africa. By surfacing authentic user stories and documenting real-world use cases, we shifted the narrative from "tech speculation" to "daily utility," resulting in significant organic social proof and viral growth.
MiniApps Lab & Product Integration: Developed and deployed the MiniApps Lab, creating a dedicated sandbox for building and testing localized products on MiniPay. This ensured the ecosystem had immediate, relevant utility for the end-user.
Celo Africa DAO Incubator: Designed and executed a 12-week high-intensity incubator program. This created a robust pipeline of Fintech, Gaming, and SocialFi projects, ensuring the MiniPay ecosystem remained dynamic and valuable to its growing user base.
The Results
Mass Scale: Contributed to the acquisition of 7M+ wallet users across the African continent.
Pipeline Development: Managed a pipeline of 20+ fintech integrations (including on/off-ramps and remittance platforms).
Ecosystem Depth: Incubated and supported 27 startups, providing the technical and strategic backing to launch successfully on the MiniPay infrastructure.
